We’re delighted to announce Campbell Smith has joined our Auckland team in the role of Communications Technician.
Campbell has more than 30 years’ experience within the electrical and telecommunications industry. During his career he has held a number of senior technical telecommunications roles, working on a diverse range of construction, retrofit and upgrade projects within the private and public sectors.
Campbell brings deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the design and installation of high-end telecommunications systems, with particular expertise in data cabling, CCTV, MATV and audio visual systems.
A natural problem solver, Campbell enjoys applying his passion for telecommunications to achieve great customer outcomes.
“I’m passionate about all things cable-related and thrive on finding solutions that will help customers achieve what they need. I’m really looking forward to being able to apply my skills within the healthcare sector where we are making a real difference to both healthcare staff and patients,” said Campbell.
Away from the office, Campbell is kept pretty busy with his family of five children, however when he can he likes to escape to his garage and pursue his talent for mechanics. A self-confessed ‘petrol-head’ Campbell loves rebuilding motorcycles and cars and is currently rebuilding a V8 engine for his Chevrolet Suburban.
Steve Gomes, Director Rauland NZ Limited commented: “We’re really pleased to welcome Campbell to our New Zealand team. He has a significant level of experience and capability, further expanding the knowledge and skill within our team.”
